Earl's Victory
Over HIV
Having been HIV-positive for seven years, Earl looks radiantly healthy, he feels wonderful, he works a normal day, and he lives a relatively normal life. Earl has achieved these results by following The Immune Boosting Lifestyle and Diet that is described at this link. Other than a two week period following a serious setback, he has not used Anti-retroviral drugs or any other kind of drug.

Earl is currently giving talks in schools (at the invitation of the local education department and local doctors), and he has an extremely positive outlook on life. He even confesses publicly that his condition has been a blessing to him in that it has drastically changed his outlook on life and his approach to life.
Earl has experienced a few setbacks, and we would like to share with you the causes of those setbacks and how a natural lifestyle and diet helped his immune system to rally after those setbacks.
Over time, we have carefully monitored Earl's progress by way of regular blood tests. In all cases, his blood tests were carried out by a clinical laboratory. The following is a summary of the results of the first four blood tests and will give you an indication as to how a natural lifestyle and diet can boost the immune system and drop the viral load.

One of Earl's most serious setbacks, one which was characterized by a marked increase in his viral load and a marked lowering of his CD4 count, was over the period when his sister became seriously ill to the point of being hospitalized. The stress of the situation, and the probability that he picked up an infection in the hospital, took a heavy toll on his immune system - but he rallied.
The moral of the story? HIV sufferers should avoid stressful situations as much as possible and stay away from hospitals and clinics as far as possible.
On another occasion Earl again experienced a major setback when he became discouraged and he abandoned the program. In a very short time his viral load soared to over 1 million and his CD4 count dropped to an all-time low.
The moral of this story? You are free to abandon the program at any time, but you can rest assured that there will be a price to pay.
It is now 2005 and Earl is in excellent health. He knows that he has to live his life within certain parameters and he has accepted that there are certain "luxuries" and "pleasures" that he has to deny himself.
The moral of this story? When the reward is your life, it is not that difficult to keep your resolutions.
We need to record that Earl is not an isolated case. We know of a number of people who are using a natural lifestyle and diet to boost their immune systems with a view to controlling HIV. One HIV- positive individual lived for 18 years and died of natural causes.
Then there is the oft-repeated story of the John Alden Insurance Company in the United States.
Somewhere around 1978, this company started targeting what was then a low risk group - namely gay, white professionals. The AIDS epidemic nearly devastated the company, but as they analyzed their situation, it was noticed that a cluster of their patients treated by Dr. Joan Priestly of Southern California were improving remarkably and living longer than those treated by other doctors. Of particular interest was the drastically lower costs submitted for payment. What was Dr Priestly's secret? Simply this: A balanced lifestyle program that included a semi-vegetarian diet, the taking of certain supplements by mouth, and the elimination of alcohol and tobacco. (Full Report)
Three cheers to Dr Joan Priestly - especially in that this took place in the late 70's. The program recommended on this website goes way beyond Dr Priestly's recommendations and, if followed, it should yield results way beyond what her program yielded.
If you are HIV-positive, you need to consult with a doctor who has faith in natural health and healing methods. If you are willing to follow The Immune Boosting Lifestyle & Diet, he or she will advise you whether ARV's are necessary - usually when the CD4 count is below 200 - and he or she will tell you when it is safe for you to curtail the use of ARV's. Exceptions granted, the closer you follow the program, the more your immune system will rally, the more your CD4 count will rise, and the more your viral load will drop.
The side effects of ARV's can be rather drastic. For some individuals they may be unbearable. This program is known to boost the immune system to the point where ARV's may not be necessary - but you need to work closely with a naturopath or a nutrition-oriented physician until such time as your immune system has stabilized.
If you are HIV-positive, we pray that God will help you to reach out for the life that is yours.
