Welcome
Warm greetings to you. This page is especially intended for those who are HIV-positive, but it should be of interest to all.
As far as the general public is concerned, there are four primary methods in treating an HIV sufferer . . .
1) Use anti-retrovirals (ARV's). Some can cope with the side effects, others cannot. ARV's have been known to detract seriously from the quality of life.
2) Focus on keeping the virus under control by boosting your immune system. The Immune-Boosting Lifestyle & Diet that is presented at this link has proven to be highly effective. A healthy immune system can usually keep the virus under control without the use of ARV's. If you do not take the necessary steps to boost your immune system, then the use of ARV's would be the only recourse available to the HIV sufferer.
3) Use ARV's in conjunction with the Immune Boosting Lifestyle and Diet until such time as your nutrition conscious health professional suggests that you can stop using ARV's.
4) Do nothing and face the consequences.
If you would like to know more about the Immune Boosting Lifestyle and Diet, then we suggest that you consider the points below in the order given.

5) Ok. On having some indication as to what is involved, and being motivated to follow the simple lifestyle and dietary recommendations, it is important to have a qualified person (ie, a naturopath or a nutrition-conscious physician) supervising monthly or two monthly blood testing in order to monitor the CD4 count and the viral load.
6) If the program is strictly adhered to, infected HIV immune systems should respond to the program within a week or two. After a month on the program there should be a significant rise in the CD4 count and a significant drop in the viral load. It would be unusual for these signs not to appear. If they are not present, it could be an indication that the program is not being strictly adhered to. Important factors such as a daily sunbath, daily exercise, sleeping with windows open, not eating refined foods (such as sugar, white flour, white bread, white rice & hydrogenated fats such as margarine and common cooking oils) or foods containing substances such as preservatives, artificial colorants, or toxic substances such as mercury (which is frequently found in commercially prepared fish), must be taken seriously.
7) If you have the time, we highly recommend that you consider the other features on our home page.
Good luck and God bless You.
